A couple weeks ago MTV News caught up with Neo err….Keanu Reeves to discuss the upcoming Cowboy Bebop movie. I am keeping a keen eye on the development of this movie because Cowboy Bebop is so near and dear to me. I have watched all the episodes backwards and forwards, captivated by the beauty in which the story telling present itself. My biggest fear is that Cowboy Bebop will end up being watered down like “Constantine.” This is truly a great story that needs to be done right on the big screen. Keanu discussed that movie production is on hold because the script needs to rewritten. The reason the script is being rewritten because the script is so true to the manga that it needs to be scaled down. You can check out the interview at MTV News.

I apologize for the lame title for the post.  I couldn’t think of anything better at the time of writing this post.  However, I will not apologize for fawning all over this new show from the creators of Robot Chicken, currently being shown Sunday nights on Adult Swim.  If you are familiar with Robot Chicken and remember the days of watching Voltron, Tranzor Z, Big O then you will enjoy this treat.  In a nutshell, the Robot Chicken crew lampoons the “mecha genre.”  Unlike the mega successful Robot Chicken, the creators decided to make this show ongoing on a weekly basis.  If look forward to watching all of the insane antics that Seth and his crew has in store for us. TITAN MAXIMUM

Season 4 of the Venture Bros is due to begin soon on Cartoon Networks Adult Swim programming.  Rumor has it, is that the first batch of the new episodes will begin sometime in October.  As an avid fan of the show, I admit that I can’t wait for the new episodes to begin.   I am curious to see what is to become of  “Henchman 21″ after the apparent death of  “Henchman 24″ after the end of season 3.   If you don’t know what I am talking about you need to go grab the previous season dvds.  The Venture Bros is by far one of the funniest shows on the Adult Swim, and the timing of the new episodes couldn’t be better because I think the current lineup has been lagging a bit.  I haven’t really watched much of Adult Swim with the exception of Family Guy and Robot Chicken. I openly admit my bias, because I have been an avid watcher of Adult Swim since the very beginning.  I was hooked by shows like Sealab2021, ATHF, Harvey Birdman, Cowboy Bebop and FLCL.  The resurrection of Futurama and Family Guy, also played a strong role towards my fandom of Adult Swim.   You should check out the trailer for season 4.  Enjoy
