You can change the channel if you like, social commentary is about to commence. Launching a new blog is a very time consuming process. I have sat on the idea for creating a fanboy type blog for over a year. I lacked motivation because quite frankly I have too many interests. I have a tendency to start something, jump to the next idea, before finishing the first thought. I think the timing is right for me to start this blog, because I have a better understanding of the technical side for writing blogs and I have a blueprint in my head as to how I like to see this blog evolve.
I decided to choose FLCL as a picture for my post. It is one of my favorite manga readings as well as anime shows of all time. I have never figured out why I like it so much. However, when my world seems to be going to hell in a hand basket, I like to slip the dvd in my blu ray player and watch an episode or two. The best description of FLCL that I can give is that it is a masterpiece of “pieced together noise.” With six crazy episodes that really have very little rhyme or reason, I haven’t seen anything like it since. I always end up having a better perspective on life after watching. My blueprint for this blog will be similar to that of FLCL, with plenty of noise, and no true rhyme or reason for its’ existence.
